With well deserved holidays approaching, winterized (and Wintour-ized) magazine editions and a flurry of fashion recaps, the final days of the year leading into the next always pose a sort of counting down sentiment. For the next fourteen days we'll be spelling out "Winter Holidays", with a post for each letter directed toward what's to come in the industry, delighting in the already much awaited style of 2014.

Covent Garden, in the West End of London, is the charming location chosen for the launch of the Burberry Beauty Box. The boutique opened today, wrapping up a year of cosmetic concepts put forth by fashion houses with primp and prose that is, of course, trenched in the campaigned technological know-how of the British brand.
We've come to expect nothing less then a compilation of classicism and the contemporary and what is inside the "Box" is full of outside of the box thinking. The digital nail bar allows customers to self-match and try on tints of polish virtually, while Apple infused till-free systems will introduce shopping online in the environment "Runway Made-To-Order" following the houses' shows during London Fashion Week.
Complete with a dazzling sixteen foot "digital chandelier", personalized "bespoke" beauty boxes and styling services, and a selection of products exclusive to the Beauty Box (with monthly in-store releases); this is just the cosmetic check mark for Burberry's chatoyant year.
