A bold statement was made by guest speakers Ruth and Rema, which instantly captured the attention of Fashion Art students. In pink and bright colors, accessorized with big sun glasses and wore printed t-shirts designed by
their marketing. I was quickly impressed by the company founded by Gene and
Jane Ford in 1976, now partnered with LVMH.
Benefit sells the number1 selling
mascara brand in the world. They plan to increase their presence in the
Canadian market while continuing to dominate as one of the top 3 brands in digital.
There social media presence on Instagram has 250,000 followers with a bigger
goal this year to expand that network. At the end of the presentation, they made
us more than satisfied by handing out samples of their top products. A big thank you to Ruth & Rema for their enthusiasm and valuable insight!
