Milan has arrived and in the most elegant of entrances.
Alberta Ferretti is the perfect headliner for the beautiful world of Milan
Fashion Week. Her designs were delicate and feminine with fragile fixtures and
stunning silhouettes. It was the epitome of high fashion, with gorgeously long
flowing colour-block dresses, lace, and sleeves.
The show began with cream,
black and charcoal as the colours of choice, but gradually evolved into
eye-catching cobalt blues, red and purple.
Textures were soft and light, with velvet appearing in the shorter dress
styles as well as jackets. The models wore their hair and make-up soft and
feminine with accessorized with large earrings. Overall a beautiful start for
Milan!
