Anna Molinari has created an elegant collection for
Blumarine Fall 2013 with opulent colours such as champagne, soft pink, black,
white and shimmering gray. The collection showcased outfits from knitwear to
outerwear to pant suits and a few dresses. She proved that trousers, whether
schoolboy or wide-leg are definitely going to be a trend this fall.
The most eye-catching pieces showcased on the runway were
the sheer skirts and Japanese inspired skirts. The collection had oversized
blazers and many checkered patterns, as well as soft coloured pantsuits. A
surprising key element in the Blumarine collection was the bold floral prints
tied in with the Japanese style wrapped bottoms. The contrasting colours make a
bold statement whether it’s on a pantsuit or a jumper. The Blumarine collection
is anything but typical.
