Missoni was all about layers for the Fall 13 season. The
shawls, cardigans, and long flowing blazers draped in creative yet elegant
ways. Many were shown off the shoulder, accentuating the silhouette. Colours
were light and fresh, with pops of vibrant lime, orange and cobalt blue.
Geometric patterns sprawled across the pieces with thin stripes with ombre
colouring.
Dresses were very mod, many paired with knee high stockings and tall
boots. Some feature pieces included cutout necklines which were replaced with
lace and mesh lining. The hair was kept very simple, as the focus remained on
the levels of layering. Most were pulled back into low ponytails, and matched
with very natural make up. A simple yet classic line that is a necessary aspect
of Fall 13!
