Kors’ combined urban, athletic shapes with sharp clean lines,
to make a very futuristic and eye-popping collection. His use of bright colours,
such as cobalt blue and orange gave the collection more of a modern and fun
feel than previous collections have. As far as prints, houndstooth made an
appearance, as well as metallic accents to the clothing, to enforce the
“futuristic” feel.
Camo was also added, which gave the menswear pieces more of
a “tough” look. The accessories included futuristic looking sunglasses, patent
leather purses and latex gloves just to name a few. With the overexagerated
silhouette’s particularly in the garments shoulders, these will be pieces that
we will no doubt be seeing at the front row of the spring collections next
season!
