Target Canada are said to be
opening their stores from March to April across Canada. The stores will be
carrying some of the brands that Americans love, now available to Canadian! Such
as cosmetic products from “Sonia Kashuk” to kitchen brand “Cordon Bleu”, and exclusively
in Canada, the stores are going to be collaborating with one of Canada’s most
iconic fashion and lifestyle brands; Roots.
Roots is marking
their 40th anniversary this year and will be presenting the Roots
Outfitters collection with Target. The collection including commodities for
men, women and children. Promising simple, vintage athletic designs with a
cheaper price tag. Instead of paying the average $80 for a pair of sweatpants
or sweater, the prices will range from $7.99 to $34.99.

In an interview with Micheal Budman, one of Roots co-founders, he mentioned this about the collaboration: “We think that this is an opportunity to reach a market that maybe we’re not reaching now; and with our design ability and (Target’s) sourcing and design ability, we think it’s a great collaboration. And we think it’s going to give a lot wider audience to see Roots when Target opens. But it is for a limited time only.”(macleans.ca)
Unfortunately the collection will only be available from March to June, so get
them while they last! Its sure to be a great collection, and a great way for
Target to open their arms to their Canadian market.
