Following a sweet sixteen years of monograms, multinational renown and Marc Jacobs' creative direction, French fashion house Louis Vuitton presented it's final collection by the designer. Jacobs leaves the position as head designer for the brand as he moves to focus on his own, expanding label. True to his often commemorative sentiment, the collection was influenced by representation of the designers past work for the house. Having brought a sense of collaboration and observant ascendency to the Louis Vuitton label, the attention to his eponymous brand will likely lead to even more of the Marc Jacobs' intentness that we fall for the thinking behind. The final collection show in Paris, can be viewed through the Fashion Channel.

The designer has worked in creative for the brand since 2001, and at 42 years old is one of the youngest named heads of the 100 highest market capitalization companies listed on the London stock exchange. In an interview with the Daily Mail UK, Halifax-born Bailey says he is  "profoundly moved and humbled to be asked to take on the CEO role at this company that means so much to him," and that he "feels privileged to be keeping the role of chief creative officer, as he believes that creativity and innovation have been at the heart of Burberry's success in the last ten years and will be even more so in the decade ahead." (Ruth Styles, DailyMail UK). In his legacy with Burberry, Bailey has directed the label towards influential social media campaigns involving hosting previewed runway shows through their connected culture and developing mentorship programs for students of global fashion.
