NYFW Biggest Trends

New York fashion week is always a time to look back on the previous months and look forward to the next, planning out and predicting what will be seen on the streets in the upcoming seasons. Being such an important event in our industry, along with the amazing clothing we also can expect to see incredible celebrities sitting in the front row, such as North West sitting beside Anna Wintour and the Queen herself on the opposite side.

Here are the top 5 trends this NYFW

1. New York fashion week was bursting with 1970's style, but also with new upcoming fashion faces.

Models strutted the runway looking like a blast from the past, with plaids and checkers a prominent trend again this fall, but with a black and red colour story.

2. Tangerine was the most eye catching colour this year, with touches throughout each collection we can be sure it will be seen in abundance this upcoming fall.
Along with the tangerine, we were taken for surprise in seeing how many spring and summer colours surfaced such as lavender and peach.

3. This year fringe was just as big as fur, it was seen on accessories, dresses, coats and skirts.

4. Poppy and coral tones made the runway, and the models pop on the runway. What a beautiful colour choice!

5. Chromatic furs stunned us this season, with effortless and elegance radiating off of the garments, the only thing better then looking at these garments is wearing them.
