Paris Fashion Week!

Fashion season has come to an end sadly, but on a brighter note, we have all these great new garments and trends to gawk about. We picked the 5 best moments of Paris Fashion Week, and hopefully it inspires your wardrobe this week.

1. Givenchy

Due to the unfortunate fact that Givenchy's muse, Bettina Graziani passed away last week, the collection was done in order to pay homage to her. The models strutted down the runway wearing many jewels, slicked back hair, nose rings, tear drops and they we're covered in gang signs. They wore fit and flare outfits, with Spanish influenced colours, like maroons and blacks. The garments were tailored perfectly and they had splashes of Victorian influence throughout. There were 2 patterns used in the collection, satyr and peacock. The gowns featured as part of the evening collection, glimmered and glistened as they made their way down the runway. The gowns were so elegant that there is argument that they are at the couture level.

2. Chloe

A line inspired by the 70's and landing on International Women's Day, couldn't of been better portrayed then it was in this collection. The line captured the essence of the modern working woman, and the 70's and made it fantastic. For Chloe girl, there are boyish looks, attached to frilly blouses, making every look tasteful and fierce. Flowy dresses, vests and skinny scarves, jumpsuits, and shearling leather coats, perfectly captured the look of a peasant girl and soft pastels were placed throughout the lingerie.

3. Celine

This season Celine went for something very different, patches of different fabrics covered coats and dresses, mimicking the checkered floor, and huge bags were attached to each models arm. The models wore white sneakers and had little straps hanging out of their garments, it looked intended as if everything was a little unfinished.

4. Emanuel Ungaro

Black and white filled the runways, with a black runway to highlight this trend of course. Evening wear was highlighted in this show and tuxedos, penguin suits, white jumpsuits, black and white dots, and the perfect amount of graphic contrast to keep the black and white theme interesting.

5. Kenzo

Kenzo had their favourite group make an original song just for their runway show! Oversized wraps, ponchos, coats and throws made the collection look super cozy. They also showed shiny floral suits, button down shirts and sweeping skirts.
