What Happened in Fashion Over the Break.

We all know the fashion world doesn't take a break, but for those of you who did, here are the top headlines industry right now!

The Pre Fall collections - From Alexander Wang to Chanel, the collections gave us a sneak peak for what is to come in the upcoming month for the Fall 2013 shows!

GAP bought Intermix - Over a 100 million deal, and now the GAP has another retailer under their widespread wings. "The two retailers had been in talks for at least a month as Intermix, a multi-store luxury boutique, looked to expand its reach. Now the small but highly fashionable store will have a mega retailer behind it, as Gap looks to up its own fashion cred." (Huffington Post)

Raf Simons reveals Dior  - With high expectations set for the 44 year old designer, it is no doubt all eyes were on the Spring 2013 campaign. With a surrealistic look, he veered from using household name models, and created an eye catching campaign. To check out all other Spring campaigns click here.

Gucci is not showing Couture SS13 - With the Spring 2013 couture collections just weeks away, it is not doubt that some people will be disappointed not to see Gucci in the line up. They have decided to focus on the ready to wear, and will hopefully be returning in a few short seasons.

Candid Karl - A photo of Karl Lagerfeld circulated the internet, of him posing with one of the more popular pieces from his Spring 2013 collection.

"Fashion not about looking back. It's always about looking

forward."
