Felder Felder’s 70’s inspired Fall 2013
show, aptly named “Velvet Outlaw,” was as rich in texture as it was in colour.
Latex, velvet, knits, chiffon, fur and leather were seen throughout in lively
shades of burgundy, mustard, burnt orange and navy.
Each model had loose, wavy hair, a swipe of
glam red lipstick and pair of simple pointed pumps on their feet. The
collection was heavy on sex-appeal with skin-tight latex trousers, deep v-necklines,
sheer fabrics and leg exposing hemlines as well as high slits on skirts. The
show closed with two over-the-top fluffy, yeti-like wool coats, balancing out
the sultry looks that came before. Overall, the collection was a successful
integration of casual-wear with fetish inspired pieces.
