For the J.W Anderson Fall/Winter 2013 collection, the
designer pulled from the androgyny of last years collection, and
mixing in some athletic elements. The collection had fairly muted colours, such as
black, gray and blues, however there were pops of colour in the trimming of
some of the pieces. The looks were fairly minimalistic, as most of his
collection are, however compared to last seasons collection, there are a lot
less prints as well as bright colours.

The collection still embodied the
androgynous feel that previous collections have had, however as previously
stated more athletic elements were added, such as baggy pants, sharp draping,
as well as athletic white shoes which added to the atmospherics of the
collection. The makeup and hair was also minimal with slicked back hair as well
as clean, nude makeup. One of the more interesting garment, was a short white
dresses that was detailed with brightly coloured material, which enveloped one
side of the models arm. All in all a very fresh and enjoyable collection!
