S&B’s collection was full of very strong, but sexy
pieces. The colour palette was almost
exclusively neutrals, such as black, white, grey and silver. However, the accent colour for this season
for them was yellow! It was
definitely not the most subtle colour, and exactly what is needed for a
bright-thinking fall.
Most of the pieces
had many different geometric patterns thrown in them, sometimes many in one
whole outfit. This was very effective
with the white and black stripes that many other designers have been touting
recently. These geometric shapes (along
with the medieval colours of black and silver) tend to show us an armour side
to the collection. Along with the bold
patterns, lazer-cutting, and body-flowing shapes that accompanied the outfits,
Sass & Bide’s F/W woman is ready to battle!
