Simplicity
is definitely the right word for Donna Karan’s fall 2013 collection. From
embellishments to figure-hugging fashions, Mrs. Karan bring her show to life by
involving furs, leather trimmings and suede garments, all attracting the slick
silhouette. Displaying a beautiful collection was not hard for Mrs. Karan, as
every model going down that runway looked absolutely stunning in seductive earth tones.
High
necklines were also a popular aspect in this collection and were a main focus
for some of the attires. By having the model’s hair tied back, this really
brought much emphasis to the style of the neckline and the accessories that
became an eye grabbing dynamic. However, we can’t forget the knee-high suede
boots and the long suede gloves that collaborated with many of the fur pieces,
and also creating a very cozy look for this show. Having a warm feeling was not
hard to miss during this collection, with the fabulous fur coats, long dresses paired
with stockings and cozy hats all created by Donna Karan herself. We will not
need to fret because with this collection it looks like we’re all going to stay
warm this fall !
