NYFW: DVF

The 70’s was definitely a vibe being felt from Diane Von Furstenberg’s Fall 2013 collection.  There were quite a few long coats, with different prints and colours, such as ocelot, burnt orange, and plum.  She also had some long, flowing shirts and dresses, with scarves that would blow behind the models as they stomped down the runway.

Her famous wrap dress made an appearance in black with leather detailing that looked really nice.  Many prints were thrown into the mix here that sometimes made things a little inconsistent.  Overall, the collection was a little conservative for my taste, and didn’t give me anything I hadn’t seen before.  Some key looks to note were the bronze pants and shirt with the fur vest, the snakeskin blazer, and the pink sateen suit.
