Paris has begun and we already overwhelmed with beautiful
fashion. Mugler took the runway with cool colours for the Fall/Winter 2013
season, with icy grey, silver and white. The statement colour of choice was a
pale coral-tangerine not seen on the runways yet this year. Material was a bit
of everything with satin, silk, fur and leather with many pieces featuring
daring combinations.
Hoods were prominent in many pieces, fitted closely to the
face and complimented by extravagant collars with angular features. Many of the
outfits offered minimalistic approaches to fastenings; with little to no
buttons or pockets. Mugler did however put a lot of focus on the waistline this
season, with either the silhouette being flattered or the skin itself being on
display. The overall look was modern and cool with an intergalactic approach,
perfect for Paris runway.
